Terms of service

1. Agreement

By creating a Facere account or using the studio you agree to these terms. If you are using Facere on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind that company.

2. Consent and likeness — the core rule

You may only upload a face, training video or voice that is your own, or one you hold documented written permission to use.

• No public figures, celebrities or strangers without permission.
• No impersonating a real person to deceive, defraud, harass or obtain anything of value.
• No sexual content, and nothing involving minors.
• No use in political messaging, identity verification, KYC, or to bypass any authentication system.
• Disclose that you are using a synthetic face or voice wherever the context or the law requires it.

3. Accounts

Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts are for one person. Administrative accounts are staff-only and have no access to customer studios or libraries.

4. Plans, live minutes and limits

• Starter ($20) includes Live Stream Swap. Pro ($50) includes Live Stream Swap and Voice Cloning.
• There is no free trial. Access begins when a plan is active on your account.
• Live sessions consume minutes from your monthly allowance and are metered from start to close.
• A single session is capped, and sessions end automatically when your allowance runs out or a heartbeat is lost.
• Saved faces, avatars and voices are subject to the storage limits shown on your plan.

5. Billing

Plans are billed in advance for the period shown at purchase and renew until cancelled. Minutes do not roll over. Because access is delivered immediately, fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

6. Availability

Facere depends on third-party inference and streaming providers. Real-time output can vary with your network, camera and lighting. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for a session that degrades or drops.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload and everything you generate. You grant us only the licence needed to process, store and stream it in order to run the features you use.

8. Suspension

We may suspend or terminate an account immediately for breaching the consent rules in section 2, for abusive or illegal use, or for non-payment. We may report unlawful use to the relevant authorities.

9. Liability

Facere is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for how you use a generated face or voice — that responsibility is yours.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be sent to account holders by email before they take effect.
